Kick Off Event for Fundraiser

To Benefit RSVP

WHAT: 15 PAST 55 Fundraising Kick Off Party for RSVP (Retired Senior Volunteer Program), an agency of the Council of Churches of the Ozarks. The community is invited – especially those 55 and over to learn more about how they can help raise critical fund for the RSVP program in the Ozarks.

Highlights

The RSVP Reading Buddy Program was able to give away almost 400 books to elementary students reading with our volunteers this year! Join us this fall to be a Reading Buddy in a school near you.

Upcoming Trainings and Events

Victim Center
The Victim Center in Springfield, Missouri, is now accepting applications from community volunteers to assist victims of violent crime and their families.
The next training is scheduled for Friday evening, October 7th and the day of Saturday, October 8th. For more information about training and this volunteer opportunity please call Paula Tindell, Victim Advocate/Volunteer coordinator, at 863-0827, #106. Interviews and background checks on all applicants will be completed prior to acceptance. All applicants must be at least twenty-one years old.
