RSVP Van Drivers
One of the needs in our community is that
of senior transportation. Although there are a number of
transportation programs in Springfield, RSVP is a little unique
to all of them. This program uses volunteer drivers who
contribute two to four hours one day a week, picking up other
volunteers who no longer drive. |
| Reading Buddies originated as an America Reads program, which is a national program to assure that all students are able to read at grade level by third grade. Volunteers spend time each week with Kindergarten through Third Grade students in one-on-one and small group settings. Volunteers attend orientation and trainings each school year. |
